Abstract

現今智慧型手機普及，雲端運算應用興盛，物聯網時代即將來臨。各種物品和裝置即將具備連網、資料收集分析與傳送的功能。智慧家庭與智慧運輸的普及已經指日可待。各個產業都有機會被連網裝置的新應用模式所顛覆。

在此演講中，我們將探討IOT (物聯網)市場趨勢及IOT裝置的必備需求。我們也將介紹作為一個CPU IP的vendor，晶心科技在IOT推出的解決方案，用以幫助客戶設計出有競爭力及差異化的產品。晶心科技在三月中以跑十公里來慶祝公司滿十周年。我們藉此機會介紹晶心科技，及分享一路走來的觀察及感想。

n 蘇博士是晶心科技的共同創辦人，也是第一個員工。他從無到有建立了RD及技術企劃團隊，建立下列產系列品:

l AndeStar™: 亞洲的第一個自有指令集可授權IP的32-bit RISC CPU架構

l AndesCore™: 基於AndeStar設計的高效能低耗電的 embedded CPU家族系列

l AndeShape™: 支援AndesCores的Low-Power SoC Platform IP及硬體開發平台

l AndeSight™: 支援AndesCores最佳化編譯器及程式除錯分析的整合開發環境(IDE)

l AndeSoft™: 支援 AndesCores的runtime systems，drivers，及middleware和applications.

n 在智原時，蘇博士負責processor and SoC design相關的技術，除了參與軟硬體架構定義外，也帶領建立一個完備的architecture modeling及HW/SW codesign flow。

n 在矽谷工作時，蘇博士是數個技術領先且商業成功的產品主要成員之一。 這些產品如下:

l Sun Microsystems Niagara server-on-a-chip (used in Sun T1000/T2000 servers): 8-core 32/64-thread Ultrasparc processor in 2003.

l C-Cube E5 (LSI’s Domino): First single-chip dual-stream SD (standard-definition) MPEG2 codec, and dual-stream MPEG2 HD decoder in 2000.

l C-Cube E4: First single-chip SD MPEG2 codec in 1997.

l SGI MIPS R10K: a leading state-of-the-art 4-issue out-of-order high-performance processor in 1995.

l Intergraph Clipper C5: an 8-issue VLIW processor; several patents produced to collect >$800-million patent settlement fees from Intel (Itanium), Dell, TI (DSP), AMD, Gateway, and HP.
